Hemkunt is a leading publisher of school text books and educational children books, established in 1948. The company |
| was founded by Late Mr. Bhagat Singh, who had a flair for writing and being an educationist, he wrote and published |
| some books himself which became instant success. His son, G.P.Singh, after completing his Printing Management course |
| from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Rochester, NY, (U.S.A.) joined the business in 1963. |

| Mr. G.P.Singh's elder son, Deepinder Singh, did his B.Sc. in Business Administration from California State University, |
| Hayward, California (U.S.A.) and joined the company in 1990. His younger son, Arvinder Singh, B.Sc. in Marketing & |
| Finance from University of California, Berkeley, CA, (U.S.A.) also joined the company in 1992. A sister concern |

-HEMKUNT PUBLISHERS Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1991 to publish general books on selective subjects. |
